Denmark's Immigration Service, the national police and Refugee Council have put Georgia on the list of safe countries, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
Due to being put on the list of safe countries, the Danish side will consider the asylum applications of Georgian citizens in the short timeframe and not satisfy them.
According to the representative of Georgia's ministry, Denmark’s decision once again emphasizes the positive environment in terms of human rights and security, political stability and economic development in Georgia, which is recognized by our partners, 1TV reported.
This decision has been enforced since November 21, 2018.
