The deputy governor of Tehran province on security issues, Safar Ali Baratlu, was fired for negligence in connection with the attack on the Saudi embassy, - the press-secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iran Hossein Ali Amiri reported.
"The deputy governor of Tehran province on security issues was removed from office due to negligence and improper performance of his duties in the case of recent attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran," - Press TV quoted him as saying, TASS reports.
