The head of the Derbent Museum-Reserve, Veliyulla Fataliyev, announced the opening of underground reservoirs previously closed for tourists from Dagestan, Russia and other countries of the world.
He recalled that the medieval reservoirs, closed until today, will open their doors to everyone. The head of the reserve added that the reservoirs of the fortress are the "holy of holies".
In addition, theatrical performances related to history will be held on the territory of the fortress. They will be organized during the peak tourist season. The visitors will also be able to taste the national dishes of Dagestan.
