As a result of the shooting at a police officer’s family in a suburb of Makhachkala, two people were killed, including a 15-year old teenager. The officer was injured and sent to hospital, a representative of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Dagestan said.
The incident took place in the settlement of Novy Khushet near Makhachkala at midnight.
Unknown people called the 39-year-old police officer from his house and shot at him, his 15-year old son and a relative who was also a policeman. The criminals escaped, RIA Novosti reported.
The teenager and the relative died immediately, the police officer was sent to hospital. A criminal case has been initiated.
