Today Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed in Baku the joint project with Iran of the Astara-Rasht-Qazvin railway network, created within the North-South corridor.
"Today we discussed one such project, which concerns infrastructure cooperation with Iran. I mean the rail network. It is a huge and rather complicated project, but if it is implemented it may provide a serious overall effect for our economies," RIA Novosti cites the Russian Prime Minister as saying.
