Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Kazakh counterpart Karim Masimov have held telephone talks discussing the issues of bilateral economic cooperation, including in the transport and customs areas, the government’s press service said.
"They also discussed the economic situation in the Central Asian region" RIA Novosti cited the statement as saying.
Besides, Karim Masimov congratulated Dmitry Medvedev on Christmas.
