Doctors in Kabardino-Balkaria are trying to save the life of a tourist from Moscow. Andrey Nechayev was taken to hospital today in a serious condition after rescuers evacuated him from Mount Elbrus.
According to doctors, the tourist was diagnosed with hypothermia and several fingers were frostbitten. He is in a coma now, his lungs are being maintained with the help of an artificial ventilator. The doctors are doing their best to save Andrey Nechayev.
According to rescue officers, the tourist was found in the Gara-Bashi Gorge, where he lost his way while skiing, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
