At 13.28 (MSK) today, by 'tomorrow's' calculations, the dollar exchange rate reached the level of 77.37 rubles (an increase of 1.32 rubles). The euro reached 84.38 rubles.
It happened against the background of a fall in oil prices below the psychologically significant level of 30 dollars for Brent (it already dropped to 29.42 dollars).
According to dealers, market participants had decided to use the previous growth of the ruble to purchase cheapened dollars and euros, RIA Novosti writes.
