The dollar-to-ruble rate went up by 9.5 kopecks and amounted to 70.5 rubles compared with the previous closing as Tuesday trading opened on the Moscow Exchange.
The euro has dropped by 48 kopecks to 76.08 rubles.
In turn, the yuan-to-ruble exchange rate has risen by 1.3 copecks to 10.418 rubles.
