Dukhik Dzhanazyan: European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Baku organized perfectly

The Azerbaijani Gymnastic Federation perfectly organized European championships, a Russian gymnast Dukhik Dzhanazyan told Vestnik Kavkaza on the Day 2 in European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.

“Everything is super in Baku. The atmosphere is not only sporting but also festive. Emotions are overwhelming,” – she said.

“Conditions for warming-up and performances are fantastic. The floor is great. Security is at the top level. Everything is perfect,” Dukhik Dzhanazyan stressed.

The Russian gymnast also thanked Baku fans for their support. “They help us to perform greatly. I want to perform even better so that the audience applause even lauder,” she said.

Dzhanazyan thinks that the level of rivals is high at the championships. “Decent rivals have come here,” the athlete concluded.

The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku welcomes FIG European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships for the first time. Athletes from 22 countries participate in the tournament. Juniors and seniors perform in individual exercises among men and women, mixed pairs, trio and groups, aerodance, as well as aerostep – only for seniors. There will also be winners in junior and senior team ratings. Athletes will compete for 15 sets of medals.
