Today all the markets of the capital of Tajikistan stopped their work, including food and clothing markets. Such measures have been taken for security reasons, the City Hall of Dushanbe reported.
Trade in the markets will resume from September 10, after the celebration of Independence Day, which is celebrated on September 9 and is a day off.
"These measures were taken for safety reasons and to avoid mass gatherings," Interfax cites a message of the City Hall.
At the same time, the remaining infrastructures, such as shops, cafes and restaurants in the center of Dushanbe are still serving visitors.
