The first political consultations of representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held on December 17-18 in Dushanbe, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
"The delegation will be headed by deputy foreign ministers of the two countries" RIA Novosti cited it as saying.
During the consultations the ministers will consider the development of relations in the fields of economy, trade and transport, the sides will also exchange views on regional issues, in particular, the situation in Afghanistan.
