The EAEU has created a commission that will examine the expediency of entering an agreement on a free trade zone with Iran. The negotiations with Iran became known in May of this year.
"We discussed the prospects of entering into a Free Trade Zone agreement with Iran. This is a new topic and it is announced for the first time. The corresponding initiative of the Iranian side was expressed not so long ago. It received support at the expert level and at the level of departments of the EAEU countries," the Minister of Trade of the EAEU Andrei Slepnev stated.
