Georgia and the World Bank (WB) in the person of the Minister of Finance of Georgia Nodar Khaduri and the bank's Regional Director Mercy Tembon signed two agreements today, according to which the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) will provide the country with $80 million, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reports.
$40 million will be allocated to the project of repair of roads in Guria, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Shida Kartli. It is to be implemented from 2016 to 2021 by the Department of the Highway Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Business-Georgia reports.
