EEU may create free trade zone with Israel

Today at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the Russian leader said that this year the country is to begin negotiations on a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Israel.

"I am confident that the a free trade between the Eurasian Economic Union and Israel can be an impetus for the development of business relations. My colleagues from the Eurasian Economic Union have recently discussed it in Astana, and substantive negotiations will be started this year," Gazeta.ru cites Russian President as saying.
