Today the Emergency Ministry of North Ossetia announced the opening of the Russian section of the Georgian Military Road from Vladikavkaz to Lars, which was closed yesterday, but the authorization is valid only for passenger cars, movement of trucks is still prohibited.
"In connection with the normalization of the situation on Georgian territory, the ability to ensure safe passage of vehicles, the movement of vehicles is allowed until further orders, except for heavy vehicles, on the section Vladikavkaz - Lars in both directions from 08:30 of March 6th, 2016," the website of the Ossetian rescuers states.
