Employees of the main departments of EMERCOM in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, in cooperation with representatives of the regional authorities, are keeping the situation concerning the return of residents of the North Caucasus from Egypt under control, the press service of the North Caucasian Regional EMERCOM Center reported.
"According to current information, 358 residents of the North Caucasus are in Egypt," the press service representative said. Among them are 260 people from Stavropol Territory, 50 from North Ossetia, 24 from Dagestan, 9 from Kabardino-Balkaria, 8 from Chechnya and 4 from Ingushetia, Interfax-South reports.
The issue of their return is being coordinated with the relevant services.
