EU Foreign Ministers to discuss the situation in Donbass with Ukraine

On April 19, a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council will take place. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba will also participate in it. The main topics of discussion are the aggravation of the situation in Donbass and "Russia's aggressive actions near the Ukrainian border," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.

"Dmitro Kuleba will inform colleagues from the European Union about the current security situation, propose a number of practical steps to strengthen the effective support of Ukraine by the EU," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also noted that "the agenda of the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council with participation of the head of diplomatic corps of the European Union and the foreign ministers of all 27 member states will include issues of aggravation of the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and around the borders of our state, caused by destructive and aggressive actions of the Russian Federation."

The EU Foreign Affairs Council is a body of the European Union, through which foreign ministers of the member states coordinate their foreign policy decisions and form a common foreign policy line of the union.
