Georgia's Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met with the Vice President of European Parliament Ryszard Czarnecki in Brussels yesterday.
According to Czarnecki, Europe’s political future cannot be imagined without Georgia.
He said that Georgia holds an important place in the European family and is an essential part of the European culture, history and civilisation, Agenda.ge reported.
"I think the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit will be yet another step forward for Georgia and other countries. We should open doors to cooperation not only in the economic direction but also on the political level”, Czarnecki said, adding the EU should show Georgia and other countries of the region the real prospects for integration.
