According to data from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the implementation of the readmission agreement with the EU, the European Union is expelling approximately 10 Georgian citizens per day. Most of those expelled from EU countries are violators of the visa-free regime.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has published statistics on the expulsion of Georgian citizens from the EU. Since the beginning of this year, 2,685 people with Georgian passports have been expelled from the EU. Georgia was obligated to accept them under the current readmission agreement.
Of these, 1,977 are adults, and 708 are adolescents and children. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also provides gender statistics for adults: EU countries deemed 1,560 Georgian men and 417 women unacceptable on their territory.
