EU extends sanctions against 149 Russian citizens and 37 organizations

The European Union has made a decision to extend sanctions [until 15 March 2016] against 149 Russian citizens and 37 organizations, a European diplomatic source said.

The decision will enter into force from the time of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The blacklist includes Russian officials, politicians, businessmen and law enforcers, as well as practically all officials of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics.
