EU extends sanctions against Russia

EU has extended economic sanctions against Russia for six months - until January 31, 2019, according to the official statement.

Earlier, a European diplomatic source said that the decision to extend economic sanctions against Russia for six months will be taken on July 5 and will become effective next Monday. The source added that it will be published in the Official Journal of the EU on Monday, July 9.
