EU intends to tighten border controls

The European Union intends to tighten its border controls in order to reduce the threat of terrorism for citizens of other countries and residents of the EU member states from external borders.

The draft document is to be presented at an emergency meeting of ministers of the interior and justice ministers of the EU countries in Brussels on Friday, November 20th, RIA Novosti reports, referring to DPA.
