European Union Council President Donald Tusk says the 28-member bloc will spend 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) this summer on projects to improve the lives of Syrian refugees, NewsOK reports.
Tusk on Saturday also praised Turkey as the "best example" on how refugees should be treated.
