EU says maintaining status quo in Nagorno-Karabakh is unacceptable

The European Union considers the preservation of the status quo in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be unacceptable, and stands for a peaceful settlement, a statement of the EU-Armenia Cooperation Council, a meeting of which was held in Brussels yesterday.

"The EU has confirmed that the status quo is unacceptable, and a peaceful settlement of this conflict remains a priority issue for the EU," APA cited the statement.
