The authorities of the European Union have decided to suspend sanctions against Belarus for a period of four months (until 29 February), the Belarusian Telegraph Agency reported with reference to the press service of the Council of the European Union.
It is reported that this decision was made "in the context of improved relations between the EU and Belarus," Trend reports.
Recall that in August, President Alexander Lukashenko pardoned six politicians, who were considered by the EU to be political prisoners.
