EU to assist Azerbaijan in distribution of agricultural subsidies

The European Union will present a joint technical assistance project for Azerbaijan's agriculture tomorrow in Baku.

The aim of the project titled 'Support to E-Agriculture in Azerbaijan: innovative and effective agricultural policy management for higher productivity and competitiveness', developed by the EU in cooperation with its partners from the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, is to enable a fair and transparent distribution of agricultural subsidies, abc.az reports.

According to the developers, it will provide reliable data for use in policy-making and the assessment of policy impacts and ultimately help to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
