EU to conduct dactyloscopy of all illegal immigrants

Fingerprints of all illegal migrants in Europe will be taken and they will be checked through the international anti-terrorism databases. Such a decision was made by the Council of the EU, according to the statement of the Council on the results of an emergency meeting of the Ministers of Interior Affairs and Justice on anti-terrorism held in Brussels.

"In the context of the migration crisis, the Schengen countries pledged to take fingerprints of all nationals of third countries illegally residing in the EU, and to conduct their systematic check through the database 'Schengen-2' (SIS II), databases of Interpol and databases of national security agencies," TASS cites the statement.
