According to a source in the European Union, on Wednesday September 2nd the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU (Coreper) discussed at a meeting the issue of extending sanctions against the citizens of Russia and Ukraine who are considered guilty of undermining the national integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
"This issue is on the agenda of tomorrow's meeting," RIA Novosti cites the source. However, he didn’t specify about an agreement on the extension of the sanctions.
According to another source in the EU, this decision should be taken before the 15th of September of this year.
