The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini has made a statement on the basis of a planned meeting with foreign ministers of the community that the EU is to discuss the process of political transition of power in Syria with Russia.
According to her, she has already discussed the issue in New York with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Brussels and the permanent representative of Russia to the EU Vladimir Chizhov.
