On the afternoon of June 19, an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 hit southern Georgia. This is stated in a message posted on the website of the National Center for Seismic Monitoring.

Tremors were recorded at 12:43 local time (11:43 Moscow time) near the village of Sameba (Samtskhe-Javakheti), located near the border with Armenia and Turkey.
