Earthquake hits northern Iran

A magnitude-5.1 earthquake jolted northern Iran on Wednesday, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported.

The quake occurred at 14:08 p.m. local time at a depth of 22 km, according to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran. 

There has not been reported casualties or destruction following these two tremors.
