A magnitude 2.2 earthquake struck near the Armenian city of Masis, the Armenian Seismic Protection authorities reported on Tuesday.
The quake hit some 10 km southeast of Masis at a depth of 10 km at around 05:33 on February 24, the Seismic Protection Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The quake did not cause any damage. The seismic activity was felt in Masis city, as well as in Mkhchyan and Dvin villages in Ararat Province.
