An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale shook the Bojnord city in North Khorasan Province bordering Turkmenistan on May 24th, Trend reports with reference to Tass.
The earthquake occurred in 23 kilometers east from the Bojnord and 93 kilometers south-west from the Ashgabat.
There was no immediate report of possible destruction or fatalities.
