Earthquake occurred in Baksan district

An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale occurred in the Baksan District in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.

"The center of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km," the press service of the North Caucasian Regional Emergency Center of Russia reports.

"Tremors were not felt," Interfax-South reports cited the press service as saying.
