An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the MPV scale has been registered in Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports.
The epicenter of the quake was located in the territory of Kazakhstan, 97km northwest of Almaty city.
The earthquake hit at a depth of 15 km at 12:52 pm local time. Residents of Almaty city felt tremors of the earthquake.
