Earthquake twice hits Georgia

Today, two earthquakes took place in Georgia, the National Center for Seismic Monitoring reported.

The first of them, with a magnitude of 3 points, occurred in the south of the country, 58 km from Tbilisi, at a distance of 14 km from the city of Tsalka, near the village of Salamaleika, in the region of Kvemo Kartli. There were no reports of injuries or damage, Interfax reports.

In the evening, the second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred in Kakheti in eastern Georgia. The earthquake occurred at 18:48 (17:48 Moscow time), 25 km south-east of the city of Dedoplistskaro, 6 km from the village of Zemo Halatsani near the Azerbaijani border.
