The American educational platform Coursera and the British educational corporation Pearson temporarily stop their activities in Russia due to a special military operation conducted by Russia in Ukraine.
"We will not support the financial or reputational well-being of Russian educators and organizations on the Coursera platform while this tragedy continues, nor will we seek to make money in the region in the context of a humanitarian crisis. As a result, we are suspending all [our] activities in Russia," Coursera informs.
Pearson said in a statement that "support for our Ukrainian employees and their families remains [the corporation's] priority."
