Eight died, 32 injured in central Turkey bus accident

Eight people died and 32 others were injured in a bus accident in the Kalecik district of Turkey's central Ankara province, Daily Sabah reports.

Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca confirmed the death toll on Twitter, adding that 11 of the injured remain in critical condition.

Ankara Governorate said in a statement that the bus went off the road took as its driver fell asleep.

The bus was traveling from the northern Kastamonu province to capital Ankara.
