Armenia is working on the creation of an electronic database of all cancer patients living in the country, the deputy director of the National Center of Oncology, chief physician Arthur Avetisyan informed.
He specified that such a registry has already been made. Currently, experts are engaged in its digitization. Upon completion of these works, a modern electronic database of cancer patients will be created, which will give more opportunities for statistical data analysis.
Avetisyan added that all of these activities are conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Armenia, NEWS.am reports.
