The 15th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku was beautifully organized, Dutch judoka Elin Henninger, who won gold medal of the tournament in the 52 kg category, said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"I think that everything is wonderful. This arena is beautiful. I saw the city, it's great. The Flame Towers are incredible. This tournament is perfectly organized," she said, adding that this is her first visit to Baku.
The XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is being held in Baku on July 21-27. The festival will be attended by more than 3,900 athletes from 48 European countries. Athletes will compete in ten kinds of sports - gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. In total, athletes will compete for 135 sets of medals.
