Azerbaijani and Turkish foreign ministers had a phone conversation July 16 on the latest developments in Turkey, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed concern over the developments in brotherly Turkey, said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
Mammadyarov condemned the coup attempt of a group of people against the country’s democratically elected government and said that those actions are inadmissible.
Azerbaijan’s foreign minister expressed support to Turkish government democratically elected by the people and solidarity with it.
Azerbaijan always stands by Turkey, added Mammadyarov.
