The bronze medal of the Islamic Games is a high achievement, Azeri athlete Elmira Gambarova said in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza. She took the third place in women's freestyle wrestling (63 kg) at the Islamic Games.
"At first there was a hope for the first place," she said.
"The opponents were very strong, I got overexcited, it was hard to tune in, but then I summoned and here is my third place," the athlete told, noting that she plans to win at the future competitions.
