Emmanuel Macron makes phone call to Baku

French President Emmanuel Macron made a phone call to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, according to Aliyev's press service.

During the conversation, the sides discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral ties. They also emphasized the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.

Aliyev and Macron discussed the issues relating to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. the Azerbaijani President once again drew the attention of the French President to Baku's stance on the settlement of the conflict.

The heads of state also exchanged views on regional security issues.
