Erbol Shormanov was appointed chairman of the board of JSC National company 'Astana Expo-2017. This decision was made by the sole shareholder represented by Kazakhstan's Ministry of National Economy, the PR Department of Astana Expo-2017 reported.
"On behalf of the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev, the national company 'Astana Expo-2017' will work further and fulfill a major responsible task," TASS cited the Kazakh Minister of National Economy Timur Suleimenov as saying.
The 67-year-old Akhmetzhan Yesimov, who previously was chairman of the board of Astana Expo-2017, was appointed chairman of the board of the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna on December 23, 2017.
