A representative of the Azerbaijani judo team, Erdenebat Bazarragchaa (weight category up to 48 kg) won the gold medal in the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku. During the tournament, she did not lose a single fight.
Another Azerbaijani judoka, Aisha Gurbanli, won the silver medal, losing in the finals to her compatriot.
Wafai Idrisi Shorfi from Morocco won the bronze medal, by defeating Ayia Kitana from Jordan in the fight for the 3rd place.
The 4th Islamic solidarity Games are held in Baku on May 8-22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic types of sports.
