Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, Trend reported citing Turkish media.
According to the reports, along with bilateral relations, the leaders discussed the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, as well as the Syrian issue.
Erdogan also expressed his condolences in connection with those killed during forest fires in California.
