Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has blamed the opposition Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen, who is in the USA now, and his supporters for the situation in the southeastern part of the country, where bloody battles against militants of the PKK have been taking place for several months.
"The police and soldiers who are close to the "parallel state'' are the reason for the increase in the number of killed heroes. "It weakens the intelligence that provides us with false information, misleads us. Therefore, the fight against the 'parallel state' is an urgent task,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
