Erdogan and Tillerson meet in Istanbul

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Sunday at the Tarabya Palace in Istanbul.

Details were not released about the nearly 2-hour meeting, the Anadolu Agency reported.

Earlier in the day Tillerson received the highest recognition of the World Petroleum Council, the largest meeting of the oil and gas industry, that began its conference Sunday at the Istanbul Convention Center (ICC).
