The head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, Fikri Isik, was included in the delegation led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will arrive in Russia on March 10, a source in the Turkish military department said.
The decision on Isik's participation in the visit was made against the backdrop of Prime Minister Binali Yildirim's statement that conducting an operation in Syria's Manbij is meaningless without agreement with Moscow and Washington, Bloomberg reported.
The Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Erdogan in Moscow on March 10.
